Laporan Consumer Price Index (CPI) US terkini telah mengembalikan inflasi ke dalam fokus. Selepas tahap rendah dalam hampir 8 bulan, inflasi meningkat kepada 2.6% pada Oktober. Inflasi teras, yang mengecualikan kos makanan dan tenaga, kekal stabil pada 3.3%.

Perubahan dalam tekanan inflasi ini telah meresahkan pedagang, terutamanya dengan keputusan Federal Reserve mengenai kadar faedah yang akan datang.

Pengurangan Kadar Fed Dalam Fokus

Dengan inflasi masih di atas sasaran 2% Fed, spekulasi mengenai bank pusat mungkin telah mengambil pendekatan yang salah terhadap potongan kadar semakin meningkat.

Sejak September, Fed telah melonggarkan strategi kewangannya, menurunkan kadar Fed Funds daripada 5.5% kepada 4.75%. Peserta pasaran sedang bertaruh untuk satu lagi potongan ke 4.5% pada Disember.

Sebelum laporan CPI yang terbaru, kemungkinan untuk pengurangan 0.25% berada pada 60.3%. Selepas berita dikeluarkan, kemungkinan ini melonjak kepada 82.5%, mencerminkan kepercayaan meningkat mengenai tahap inflasi yang belum cukup tinggi untuk menghentikan Fed daripada meneruskan kitaran pelonggaran.

Kebimbangan Inflasi Dipercepatkan

Jika Fed meneruskan pengurangan kadar yang agresif, ia mungkin memberikan risiko tekanan inflasi lanjut pada 2025 yang boleh mendorong peningkatan inflasi tahun depan.

Kebimbangan ini diperhebatkan dengan ketakpastian pasaran mengenai polisi fiskal yang dicadangkan oleh ahli politik, seperti rancangan bekas Presiden Donald Trump untuk melaksanakan potongan cukai lanjut, mengenakan tarif yang lebih tinggi dan mengambil pendirian yang tegas terhadap imigresen.

Walaupun masa dan magnitud polisi ini masih samar-samar, ia boleh menyumbang kepada trend inflasi yang lebih kuat dalam beberapa bulan akan datang.

Situasi ini menimbulkan soalan penting: apa yang akan berlaku seterusnya? Jika Fed mengurangkan kadar dengan terlalu agresif, terdapat risiko inflasi yang melonjak dalam masa terdekat, terutamanya pada 2025.

Risiko ini menjadi lebih ketara apabila dengan polisi ekonomi yang mungkin akan datang, termasuk potongan cukai, tarif yang lebih tinggi dan langkah imigresen yang lebih ketat yang dicadangkan oleh tokoh politik seperti Donald Trump.

Penjualan Bon Dan Kos Pinjaman yang Meningkat

Tindak balas pasaran terhadap situasi ini adalah serta-merta. Pelabur, yang bimbang dengan inflasi yang meningkat, telah mula menjual bon kerajaan dan menyebabkan kos pinjaman naik. Ini telah mempengaruhi kesan-kesan positif pengurangan kadar terkini Fed. Kadar gadai janji juga telah meningkat semula.

Sementara itu, Dolar US terus memperkukuhkan kedudukan yang didorong oleh jangkaan pengurangan kadar lanjut pada 2025. Gabungan dollar yang lebih kuat dan inflasi yang meningkat telah mengeruhkan prospek pasaran.

Mata Wang dan Komoditi

Beberapa minggu akan datang akan dipenuhi dengan volatiliti. Mesyuarat Federal Reserve pada bulan Disember adalah kritikal dalam menentukan arah untuk inflasi dan polisi kewangan. Pedagang perlu kekal berjaga-jaga dengan memerhatikan sebarang perubahan dalam polisi fiskal atau tanda-tanda penyelarasan strategi potongan kadar Fed.

Pasaran forex pula sudah menunjukkan pergerakan.

Indeks Dolar AS (USDX) menunjukkan trend bullish yang kuat, stabil pada 107.00, tetapi jika pengurangan kadar yang dijangkakan menjadi realiti, ia boleh mendorong USDX ke tahap lebih tinggi.

EURUSD terus merosot dengan pengukuhan dollar, manakala GBPUSD kekal stabil tetapi boleh mencapai sokongan berhampiran 1.2550.

USDJPY kekal sebagai fokus utama, terutamanya berhampiran paras rintangan 157.40 atau 158.30.

Dalam dunia kripto, Bitcoin menunjukkan pergerakan menaik yang ketara, mencapai kira-kira 88,000. Pedagang mungkin perlu membendung optimisme mereka kerana konsolidasi lebih lanjut menunjukkan pembetulan yang akan datang.

Jika pergerakan bearish ini berterusan, paras sokongan utama boleh menjadi tumpuan, dan pedagang mungkin mencari kemungkinan pembetulan.

Apa Yang Akan Datang
