Indeks S&P 500 bergelut untuk mengekalkan momentum pada hari Khamis, ditutup pada 6,012.55 selepas mencapai paras tertinggi harian pada 6,074. Walaupun data inflasi dari Amerika Syarikat pada awalnya meningkatkan sentimen pasaran, kenaikan itu tidak bertahan lama akibat kebimbangan risiko global yang semakin meningkat serta keraguan terhadap gencatan perdagangan AS-China. Indeks ini susut sebanyak 0.21% pada hari tersebut, menandakan kehilangan momentum selepas menghampiri paras tertinggi sepanjang masa awal minggu ini.

Fokus utama pasaran tertumpu kepada laporan Consumer Price Index (CPI), yang menunjukkan peningkatan inflasi AS pada bulan Mei yang lebih perlahan daripada jangkaan. Ini pada awalnya mengurangkan tekanan terhadap Federal Reserve untuk mengetatkan dasar monetari, namun para pedagang tetap berhati-hati, menyedari bahawa data harga pengeluar yang bakal diumumkan dan kos berkaitan tarif yang masih berterusan berpotensi menghidupkan semula tekanan inflasi. Laporan inflasi pengeluar, yang akan tiba, dijangka menjadi petunjuk penting kepada indeks Personal Consumption Expenditure (PCE), ukuran inflasi pilihan Fed.

Pasaran kini menjangkakan kemungkinan 70% bahawa akan berlaku pemotongan kadar sebanyak 25 mata asas menjelang bulan September, walaupun pegawai-pegawai Fed dijangka mengekalkan kadar faedah pada mesyuarat akan datang. Analisis Teknikal

S&P 500 jatuh dari paras tertinggi 6074 selepas sesi yang tidak menentu, dan akhirnya menemui sokongan sementara pada 5997.55 sebelum kestabilan. Walaupun berlaku lonjakan awal, momentum mula lemah semasa sesi dagangan Eropah apabila MACD beralih ke arah penurunan dan bar histogram menjadi merah, menandakan kekuatan belian yang semakin pudar.

Moving average mula mendatar, menunjukkan potensi fasa pengukuhan. Terdapat cubaan pemulihan sederhana apabila harga bertahan sedikit di atas paras 6000, namun keyakinan belian kekal lemah selagi harga belum menembusi kawasan 6030 – 6050. Jika berlaku penurunan di bawah 5995, tekanan penurunan lanjut mungkin berlaku dalam masa terdekat.

Volatiliti berkemungkinan meningkat dalam sesi akan datang apabila pasaran mencerna data harga pengeluar, komen dari bank pusat, dan sebarang kenyataan tambahan dari White House. Pedagang dinasihatkan untuk memerhati perubahan mendadak dalam sentimen kerana jurang antara posisi pasaran dan risiko geopolitik sebenar semakin mengecil.
